Last Blast at the Beach

Well, that's it. Put the beach towels and sand toys away, and the beach memories on the blog. We have returned from our final voyage to the beach for the year. Last week we spent time with our toes in the sand with Pawpaw and Nena. If you've been anywhere in the Southeast region of the country lately, you know the weather has been less than ideal. We did, however, manage to squeeze in lots of sunshine and fun!

I have NEVER seen so many jellyfish in my life! They were huge!

She once again loved the sand and the waves. Being on Orange Beach/Gulf Shores she got to play in that pretty, white sand.

Have you ever eaten at Lamberts? This was a first experience for me. With rolls being thrown at you (literally), country food, and HUGE cups this place was lots of fun. Perfect for the kiddos.

Ella tried to make friendly with the seagulls. Even a snack couldn't convince them.

I even got to see the sun rise one morning. A big thanks to my dear child who so kindly helped this happen...(insert sarcasm here).

Pretty white beach pictures? Yeah, they didn't happen. One more good reason to make multiple trips to the beach.

Thanks to these guys for a wonderful time!

Love Lamberts! We make a stop there every time we visit Orange Beach! It's sooooo good and worth it! (Hint: don't order a meal, just eat the samples and rolls they bring around. It's a lot cheaper! Haha)
