This Mother's Day I celebrated a very special first: muffins for moms. This is a very common celebration where the moms are invited into the classrooms to share in a special time with their child. Ella greeted me as soon as I walked in with a gift. She was so excited about it, she apparently decided to open it herself!
She had been telling me all week that she was going to "share a muffin" with me. Although I did have one muffin, she didn't do much sharing. She was very serious about that muffin and wasn't swayed when all her other classmates finished.
What a sweet time to share with my sweet girl. Of all the things in life, I couldn't be prouder to be a mama to this one!
A keepsake I'll treasure for many, many years!
