Ella celebrated Thanksgiving with her friends at school today. They stood up and sang a little song and then "feasted" on chicken nuggets, turkey rolls, green beans, corn, applesauce, rolls, and cookies. Ella's teachers dressed the boys as Indians and the girls as Pilgrims. For memory's sake I must include what Ella told me Tuesday when I picked her up from school: "Mama, I can't wait until 2 more days at our feast because the boys are going to be aliens and the girls are going to be humans!" (pronounced "hoo-mans")
