This past weekend we went to the lake with some old friends that I grew up with. Daddy was out of town, and even though we see Ben and Brooke often, it's not often we see everyone else. Ella made a new friend and we adults enjoyed some old laughs and memories while experiencing our lives as they are today (changing diapers, feeding mouths, and crying babies).
Ella was more interested in dressing up Uncle Ben more than herself. He wouldn't have had it any other way. She's preparing him for his upcoming arrival in a few months.
She also dressed up Violet.
Ella was captain of the boat (or so she thought.) Once again, Uncle Ben didn't mind.
Meet Violet's little brother, Max. He was seriously happy with whatever.
You know the adults had fun too. The boys enjoyed surfing. Yes, surfing. On a lake (for all you non-lake-goers).
Well, most of the time.
