Kindergarten Round-Up

At the end of the kindergarten registration week, the school that Ella will be attending does a morning of orientation for the students and parents. It's just an opportunity to see the school, meet the teachers, and the most anticipated...ride the bus. Seriously my child has been talking about riding a school bus for years, and she finally got her chance.

Checking in:

Waiting to meet the principal and kindergarten teachers. I taught here and Meme is a parapro in kindergarten here, so I knew everything, but it was good for Ella to be able to see it. And it does, admittedly, feel different on the parent side of things. :)

The bus ride! The most exciting part was that we got to pass our house on the ride. Ella was beside herself.

Ella and her friend, Reese. These girls had a blast together. I don't think kindergarten is going to be a problem at all for them.

Lining up off the bus to go in a kindergarten class while the parents went and got the ins and outs of what kindergarten looks like.

So excited she got magic play-doh in her class and a little welcoming gift from Meme.

A spiritwear shirt!

Super excited about her new school and being in kindergarten! But first to finish Junior K and enjoy our summer...
