I mean really. I must be dreaming. There is no way possible that I can be typing this about my baby. No way. I mean she just started preschool. Heck, she was just in my arms as a baby!
But that's just not the truth. You and I both know it. So, here it is...I registered her for kindergarten. To say that this child was a little excited would be an understatement. She was grinning from ear to ear! Before we even got in the school good she was running off to the library to check out a book with Meme. Oh did I mention that? This is Meme's school. Ella is a little excited about that part too. But I think Meme may be more. :)
I had all the required forms and identification/residency proof ready, I just had to fill out a personality/ability type questionnaire. They took Ella back and gave her the kindergarten placement test. When they came out, Ella had her shoes off like she was walking around her house! Oh my, that child. At least she isn't nervous.
Waiting on her assessment:
They gave her a bunch stuff to take home and use over the summer and she picked out her nap mat. Purple butterflies with sparkles...
We went back that Friday for an orientation type morning, or "Kindergarten Roundup." But that's for another post...
