So did you all know I'm ridiculously blind extremely nearsighted?
Yep. I am. Like carefully place your glasses next to the bed on the nightstand so when you wake up in the morning you can see blind.

Today was my yearly visit to my eye doctor. I can't remember which one is a "-tometrist" and which one is a "-thamologist" much less spell them, so I won't even try. I see the doctor one. Along with my usual contacts, I am in much need of a new pair of glasses as well. Because, well, if something happened to my contacts I have to have a backup. Emphasis on have.
I had it all planned out. I had the DVD player charged and ready for Ella's entertainment. The only problem was after about 5 minutes of playing, the battery died. The process of reading letters, covering of eyes, drops in eyes, waiting for eyes to actually dilate, and then bunches of lights in eyes wasn't entertaining my little one who was strapped in her stroller. So, I had to pull out my phone and find some YouTube videos on Elmo and Alvin. With my eyes dilated.
She didn't mind though, once I finally figured it out. And, conviently we had headphones from that DVD that conked out on us.
So, the good news is that my prescription stayed at a really high (negative, of course) number. The bad news is that my eye doctor says my little phone watching girl will probably have similar problems eventually. Yikes. Sorry, baby.
Good thing she looks good in glasses. We tried on lots of glasses (as we were waiting to pass the time so I could get a new pair). The first ones are my pick. The second was hers. I think it's because of that tiny little Dora sticker in the corner of lens. Those eyes must not be too bad, after all.

If she needs them, she will be gorgeous, as always! These are too precious on her. I like the first ones too.
