Ever since she received this ClickStart for Christmas, she's wanted to play it. A lot. She loved the "game" where you just type letters or numbers and it called them out and made the sounds. She just wasn't very good with making the mouse work. And, well, most of the simple games at her skill level require clicking and using the mouse. Hand-eye coordination does take some work, but it was just SO frustrating to watch because, "I got it" is what she tells me when I try to help.
But then I realized the mouse and pad came on the right side of the keyboard.
Oops.
After a quick switch-a-roo, Ella's back in business and better than ever with the mouse. She can now play the games, and when asked, point to "the yellow hay to find the sheep" or "click on the blue tractor" all by herself.
Gosh, this lefty thing is going to take some adjusting.

I think Ava is a lefty too. Not sure though because Chris is left handed so everything he helps her do he does with her left hand. I hope she is because he can help her way more than I can with all this hand eye coordination stuff that I can't do to save my life.
We have this, and got it when Hailey was I think 3 1/2 and she still likes to play with it. Scout's house is a cute game.
I didn't realize she was left handed! I think that's so cool!
we think Preston is too..how do you tell for sure LOL? I thought it so strange. Nearly noone we know is lefty. Now, we know Ella though! :)
