"I wide airpwane!"

One of our main reasons for catching an earlier flight home was because we had a little company. If you've ever flown before you know it's a lot of work to get a small child through security and board a plane. Last time I did it, I was also by myself (with Ella of course) and realized how much work it really was. When I found out Poppy was coming to South Florida for business, I thought it might be nice to have a couple extra hands. It turned out to be a wonderful idea. I think Ella (and Poppy) enjoyed the time to together.

Ella was a great passenger. With Elmo and The Bee Movie in front of her and those sweet flight attendants giving her whatever she wanted (which was cookies and coke), she was a champ. I was very pleased that they were so complimentary, seeing as how our seats were on the very first row...and I know all those businessmen rolled their eyes when we sat down.

She's talked about the trip ever since (she doesn't remember her first trip on a plane). Plus, she got to see a whole lot more snow in the sky than she saw on the ground.
