Bye, Bye Baby!

It officially happened today: we lost our sweet baby and got a big girl. She got her first hair cut today. Here's how it all went down:

First Ms. Christy gave her a comb to play with before ever sitting her on the chair. This was an excellent distraction. Then she put a towel around her neck to catch the hair. Nope. She didn't like that!

Assessing the situation,

A little bit of head turning and moving, but Ella did really well overall. Christy handled it like a champ. Not her first rodeo.

Now it's time to style that 'do! Ella pushed the button to turn on the hair dryer. Ms. Christy must be a mom (of twins nonetheless)!

Thank you, Ms. Christy! This was certainly an impromptu cut. She originally thought she would be too booked to cut Ella's hair, but at the last minute worked her in. A big thanks to Aunt Kora for rushing over to photograph such a memorable event. (Mom wasn't prepared with her camera because she thought she was the only one getting a hair cut)
