You might think Ella would've been a little lonely without her dear friend Kate to play with for a few days (she went out of town with mom and dad). Fear not! Kate's replacement: her dog, Trip. Ella was a such a good caretaker. She made sure Trip had everything he wanted (even if he didn't want it right then).
In case he couldn't remember where his bowl was, Ella brought Trip his food.
And, being the good dog he is, Trip politely took it and stored it for later (when he actually was hungry).
She also shared her food. Tripp ate everything from the table that "mysteriously" made its way to the floor (sorry, Kora). Here she is offering Trip some soy milk from her sippy cup. He wasn't interested and finally she gave up. Finally.
Of course she played with Trip,
gave him kisses,
and gave him lots of love, attention, and petting.
We'll miss you Trip, but we hope you'll get a lot of rest back at home. Don't worry, Kate wasn't permanently replaced....she and Ella shared many embraces upon seeing each other. It hasn't been that long, has it?!?

Ella can borrow Bailey and/or Macy anytime she needs a new best friend. It'd be a welcome relief. LOL!
