Southern Snow

Yesterday, at about noon, this is what we saw when we looked out our window. Snow!

Of course, we had to prioritize, and go get lunch. After lunch, these are some sights we saw as we headed home:

By the time we got home, it was time for Ella to take a nap. We stopped on the way in and let her see what the snow was all about:

She walked in it, picked it up, and even tried to put it in her mouth. Before her nap, she loved it! We just couldn't wait for nap time to be over. That, however, was a different story. By then, it was much colder and snowing much harder. Prissy Pants walked out, said, "It's cold," fell down in the snow, and started crying. Once we got her up out of the snow, she turned around to the direction in which the snow was blowing, tried to get it out of her face, and started crying some more. She did laugh once when Daddy threw a snowball and hit me. We decided it wasn't worth it and made our way inside. I think this was her favorite part of playing outside in the snow:

It appears she liked looking at the snow more than she liked being in it! Good thing we live in the South!
