Kayla

Oh that sneaky little elf. Every day we would wake up and Ella would be off to see where she was! Many days she would be found on the banister, hanging from a door knob, or reading a book, but a few days she would be doing something sort of funny. She NEVER made messes. She came to be sure Ella was acting right, so we discussed her being a good example of that. A few of Ella's favorites:

taking a ride with "married Barbie"

We had a little problem with Ella touching her a lot. We weren't too worried about it (even though the book doesn't encourage this at all), but then she began asking to take her places and it was becoming a problem. Then one night she didn't move from her previous spot, so we figured maybe she'd lost some of her magic as the book suggests. Until two days later, Ella found this note and surprise.

Christmas Eve we found her playing Hungy, Hungry Hippos in the playroom.

Kayla was a fun guest to have in our home for a short season. And boy was her purpose effective. Thanks for visiting, Kayla! See ya next year!
