So, if you've spent any amount of time with our child, you know that she would literally keep a pacifier in her mouth ALL day long! She now has eight teeth, and seems to be getting more, so I've decided now's as good a time as any to get rid of that thing. Today is only the second day of cold turkey, but so far she's doing well. She doesn't use it at night, but uses it during both naps and any other time we need her quiet. And I am proud to say, she has done great during her naps (I haven't really needed her to be quiet because we're just hanging out).
And now, a trip down paci memory lane- just to prove a point (notice, she doesn't even care if it's hers!)...

Was I right, or was I right? Thus far, a pacifier has joined us on all of life's great events. Hopefully, soon I can say differently!

Good job out of you! Now you don't have to worry about her being 28 months old and still needing it to sleep! At least we really have gotten him to the point where that is the only time that he just has to have it!
