Yucky Crud

Here's what we've been up to at the Shad Shack today:

The runny nose that Ella has had quickly turned into an ear infection in the right ear (which is old hat to us) and bronchitis (which is a whole new world). She's on an antibiotic and these breathing treatments 5 times a day for 10 days.

And don't be fooled, while she looks so rested and relaxed let me give you the real run-down:

a: She's exhausted after all the screaming today and no naps

b: This is the third treatment which proved to be the best one of all

c: God can perform miracles

Seriously, the first treatment at the doctor's office was pure torture. Screaming, flailing, and me squeezing her so tight I thought she would lose circulation went on for 5-7 straight minutes (which felt like 7 hours). Finally the doctor came in and said, "Ok, that's enough, she can stop now," even though the medicine wasn't finished. I am so relieved that it's getting better. Hopefully she'll be getting better soon as well...
