Ella was invited to my cousin's cowboy 5th birthday shindig. Everyone was all decked out in their hats and boots, and our gal was no exception!
At the party, they got hats and bandannas (and stick horses, and harmonicas, and lots of other western themed goodies). This was right before the photo op that every child was supposed to have: their picture made as they sat on a real pony. As we walked up, Ella immediately spotted the pony rides and started yelling, "Horstie, horstie." She was so excited I thought she would run right out of her boots. We walked up to them, she petted them, talked to them, and even let the birthday boy's mom dress her up for a picture. I was pleasantly surprised at this response. That was until I actually sat her on the pony. As you'll notice below that photo op never happened...
There were also inflatables to jump in. One for the bigger kids and another smaller one for the smaller kids. That mama thought of everything! Ella wasn't, however, scared to jump. I thought for a minute we might be spending the night there...
Happy Birthday, Partner!
