Last year for Earth Day, we did this cute little plant project that later my child ate. This year's Earth Day celebration is much better:
NO MORE DIAPERS!!
It's true. She decided several days ago that she wanted to wear "Dora panties" to school. Knowing she'd have an accident before we ever made it, I dressed her in a cruddy outfit and packed away the "real" clothes so that she could change into them later that morning.
And when I picked her up from school, she was wearing the same cruddy outfit.
So from that point on, she's done very good. A couple of accidents along the way and #2 still isn't mastered yet, but putting a pull up on her at nap (her regularly scheduled "go" time) has helped to keep me from cleaning up messes.

Now, that's a reason to celebrate!

We should have a potty party. Ava is almost trained. She has done really well and if I was better we would probably be there. We spend a lot of time sitting on the potty these days. I will be so glad when it is over and no more diapers ever!!
