Easter 2010

We had an extremely fun, but busy Easter.

First, we saw that the Easter Bunny visited Ella. After sorting through a couple of movies, swimmies, a kite, flip flops, headphones (for her DVD player), and a catch game, it was off to get ready for church.

Second, we went to church. Besides going to, you know, church, I snapped a few shots of Ella's Sunday School Friends and some family ones as well.

Next we headed over to Gigi and Poppy's house. Ella opened her goodies and we visited with them for a while.

Lastly, we headed to Meme's house for lunch and egg hunting. Ella was excited about hunting eggs. Like her previous egg hunting experiences, there were way too many eggs to choose from for just six cousins. But they set out looking for those gold and silver prize eggs, along with tons more.

She hunted away, but once she'd found her "big" egg (prize egg) she frankly told me, "Mommy, that's enough!" (Hmm, wonder where's she heard that before?.....) and walked herself up to the driveway and sat next to Papa with her load of eggs.

And that was it. She hunted no more.

She did get up to play on the steps though.

And then came the dreaded "grandchildren" shot. Maybe one day we'll look back and laugh, but for now it's is a huge source of frustration. Just ONE shot! That's all we want! But that's what happens when you have 6 kiddos (5 that are under the age of 4).

After Meme's house we rushed home just in time to change clothes, and let Ella catch a short nap so I could finish packing. Then we loaded up and headed to the airport. We spent this last week at the beach and had a blast!
