A Night Without Mom and Dad

Earl and I were able to celebrate our anniversary Friday night. We had a great dinner at Chops and stayed at the Westin for a night away. Earl also gave me some gorgeous diamond earrings that were passed down from his mom. They will be a wonderful heirloom to give to Ella one day...a long time from now! :) It's so nice to be able to have time together (away from Ella as much as we love her)...but don't worry...she had just as much fun without us. Her stay at GiGi and Pop's house was just as fun as always:

She apparently loves to clean out their cabinets as much as she loves to clean ours out at home!

And even though there are a ton of cool toys to play with,

This was the most fun of all: Abby's cage!

There's no better way to win Ella's heart than ice cream...I think it's working...
