...then it must be my child walking in her Hip Abductor Brace.
Ok, so I usually go right into her room in the mornings and take it off, but when I went in her room yesterday she was walking and I just had to share it. It's so funny. When Ella's doctor first prescribed this particular brace, he told me that children walked in them. When I first saw it, I thought, "Yeah right!" Guess I was wrong.

Apparently, Earl (Mr. Sarcastic, Pickity-Pick-Pick Himself) thought that I was making a little too much fun of our sweet child in this post. I hope you all know my heart, how dearly I love Ella, and that I would never be mean towards or about her. It was a combination of, "Can you believe she can actually walk in this brace?" and "Look how funny she looks walking in the brace!" Nothing malicious or hurtful. Just funny. You get me, right? I think he does, he just didn't want all of y'all to think I was being mean. So don't please. :) I love my child, I promise.

LOVE the bedhead!
I totally knew what you meant! that overprotective Daddy! :) How cute! We all know how much you love Ella and how you devoted yourself to healing her hips and getting her the best care and how proud you are of all she can do now and I think the reason it is so easy to make light of the brace is because it almost seems surreal she even still wears it! she has come so far and is so flexible and athletic at the baby gym and God has truly made her your little miracle! You aren't mean at all! :)
