Celebrating Cooper

One year ago today our little Cooper arrived. Old man looking and wrinkly as he was, he was the sweetest baby you've ever seen- and still is. All 5 pounds, 3 ounces of him. He came a little sooner than expected (not sure why after Aidan's early arrival)...but we welcomed him all the same!

Yesterday we celebrated Cooper's big day. One year later, he's still the sweetest, happiest little old man I know!

Cooper loved the rocking chair we gave him...he's had a little practice in Aidan's!

There were lots of kids there to help Cooper open all of his presents...


...and you know Ella was right in the middle of it!

Big Brother Aidan is enjoying Cooper's new presents too- especially this chair from MeMe and Papa.

Another beautiful and very tasty cake creation from my mom- the talented cook, baker, seamstress, etc., etc., etc.

Cooper enjoyed his cake more than any other one year old I've seen (and I've seen a lot lately, trust me). He might be small, but this boy can pack in some food!

Of course, Ella enjoyed her fair share of cake as well!
