This morning, Ella and I were reading this story, when we got to a page and Ella started pointing to some of the pictures. She was talking (in her own little language) about what was happening in the picture- which happened to be of Jesus talking to a group of children. I pointed to Jesus in the picture, and said, "Look Ella, that's Jesus." She looked at me, moved my finger away from the book, and bent down and kissed Jesus in the picture.
What innocence, yet such a profound statement Ella made to me without even knowing it. We should take the time to look for Jesus, but most importantly we should be in awe of Him- so much like Ella that we give Him a "kiss"! Thank you, Jesus, for the messages you send us through our children!
Have you taken the time to stop and look for Jesus today? He's around you...just find Him!
