This phrase is often used in the relationship between a father and his daughter, but I think it really rings true hear at the Shad Shack. She just lights up when Daddy is around, when he isn't she often talks about him, and I believe the feeling is mutual. These two are playmates, phone buddies, dancing partners, and I think he's even trying to make a golfer out of her. There's something super special that those two have. He's a wonderful Daddy to say the least and we wanted nothing more than to make Father's Day awfully wonderful too.
After church, the three of us had lunch together before visiting some of the other amazing dads in our life. We watched the U.S. Open (you know, because it was his day, and well, I like it too cause I'm a dork like that) a large majority of the day. Fittingly enough, Daddy got some gear for his own golf game. A 60 degree wedge and a new pair of golf shoes.
Good day, good time together, good Daddy.
