What an amazing week. As I think back on some of the best weeks of my life, this one strikes me as a member of my top three. Ella was a blast, Earl was a trooper in everything we did, but the family time that we had together, just the three of us, was indescribable. We had a great time and made some great memories. It's not why they do it, so I won't call them by name, but let's just say Ella has a great Nana and Papa that had a large part in making this trip possible. We thank you and we love you! Really. Thank you.
Things that I take away from this trip to Myrtle Beach:
- Headphones with a dvd player work wonders while traveling. Even if you think they won't. And even if you have to play a crazy-eyed, furry, red creature with an incredibly high voice.
- Crocs were invaluable to Ella at the beach. No matter if you love them or not (as I did not) they are great.
- If you have a girl with not-so-long hair, a small, french braid down the side of the face is ideal for pool hair. Go back to some of my pool pics to check it out.
- Small kids need to play Putt-Putt. You'll never laugh so hard in your life.
- Eat at T-Bonz in Barefoot Landing. It's Yummy.
Bye, Bye, Beach! Thanks for a wonderful week!
