"Me Swim"

If I heard it once, I heard it one hundred times during our trip. Ella loved the pool. Loved it. As a matter of fact, it was the enticement for going to sleep at night. She remembered. First thing, Crocs on and get the float. "Me Pool."

"But honey, you have to eat breakfast first." She wasn't going to let me forget it either.

Once she was at the pool, she was happy.

She liked jumping to Daddy, a lot. A whole lot. We started her off in this float/life jacket thingy. It did great. It didn't take long for Ella to realize she didn't need as much floating help as we thought she would.

Here she goes jumping again. But this time she's counting to 3 (or 4 or 8 or 10...whenever she felt like jumping).

Here begins the process: Jump,

Swim to the ladder,

Climb up the ladder,

Look for Mama,

Repeat. Maybe a little toss from Daddy every now and then.

Then when she'd had enough of that, it was time to get on her float and relax in the lazy river.

she is so going to marry P one day....wait till you see his pool pics..they are identical. :)

I will say you are doing great though that she is using the arm floats and not being clingy the first time P did that was this trip and I literally cried with happiness..swimming has been hard lately with him...guess he had the cheapest swim lessons ever.just watch J and not be afraid anymore. Now he won't LET us help him. "I swim myself!"
