Since transitioning to strictly table food (she sounds like a dog) a few weeks ago, Ella has become quite the little piglet. I think her favorite foods are fruit! This morning, I fed Ella her breakfast as usual; today it was a pancake, half a boiled egg, and strawberries.
As she eats I usually clean up the kitchen a little and eat breakfast myself (which is nowhere near as detailed as Ella's). This morning, nothing was different. It takes Ella forever to eat (remember the cupcake at her birthday party?) so I often get caught up in what I'm doing and forget to check her progress. Usually when she's finished I can find little bits of food in the floor because she's thrown them or she's cleared her plate off into the highchair tray and is handing me her plate. Not this morning:
