As you can tell, I've decided to give my blog a "face lift." Although I liked the previous format and background, I think it washed out my pictures a little. It's been bothering me for a while, so I finally decided to just break down and try another one.I'd love to know your thoughts on The Shad Shack's new look. Is it easier to read, etc? If the white wording is more difficult to read I can change it back or find a new look altogether. Let me hear your opinion!
Also, I have some family and friends that either have inspired me to create this blog or have followed in my footsteps with blogs of their own. Be sure to check them out by clicking on their links on the right side of this page.
And finally, you'll notice my red theme...I'm preparing for Saturday, September 6th. What's that you ask? None other than the first televised game of Georgia football (We won't be getting paper view the weekend before)! My dear brother-in-law keeps me reminded through his many emails throughout the year. He's an avid (that's an understatement) Gator fan, but he sends reports on top ranking teams and the SEC. This year, many of the statistics and rankings he sends have Georgia placed right where they ought to be. :) Love ya, Jake! And I find myself anxiously awaiting those Saturdays. It reminds me of when Earl and I first met. And I do really enjoy watching college football. Last year, Ella was glued to the TV screen anytime there was a green field on it. We'll see how this year goes. GO DAWGS!
