So Ella has, for the last few weeks, begun opening and closing the cabinets and pulling things out of them. Depending on where she is, I either tell her "no" and move her away or just let her pull stuff out and clean it up later. So, last night as I was cooking dinner, she was doing the usual playing- the Tupperware cabinet, the extra kitchen towels, a few pieces of bake ware, etc. I ran into the laundry room to put some clothes into the dryer and I came back about 30 seconds later to this mess. She found the Ziploc bag of Sweet-n-Low, unzipped and opened the bag, and emptied it on the floor. When I saw it, all I could do is laugh. But when she saw me, she immediately began crying hysterically. Guilty conscience, eh?
