After facing some ridicule about the lack of pictures of Jake, because he is such an important part of my life, I am proud to share the pictures taken last night as we celebrated Jake's birthday:
We met at Outback to enjoy a meal and celebrate Jake's special day. We also did some laughing at Matthew, an extension of the Harrison family, who just leaves himself open to that often. We did have a great time. I ordered Ella a carefully selected meal that I knew she liked and was also healthy. When her grilled chicken and veggies came out, I cut them up in little pieces and allowed them to cool off for her. But, she ate some of the chicken and decided she wanted to play. No healthy dinner tonight. In the midst of her playing and interrupting her GiGi's meal, she found the broccoli on her plate (that was just like Ella's but in whole pieces). She decided that was the broccoli she wanted and proceeded to eat several pieces like an apple:
What a weirdo... We did have a fun and enjoyed our yummy meal too. But, most importantly, I was able to take some pictures of Jake so that I could post them on my blog and facebook page. That's what's most important anyway, right? I know it's not Jake, but this is a pretty cute picture of Ella and her GiGi.
